Visa Platinum Rewards Program Frequently Asked Questions

Visa Platinum Rewards is a unique program that rewards you for using your 1st United credit card.

Earn one point for every dollar you spend on eligible Visa Platinum Rewards credit card purchases. 

Note: Beginning July 1, our current rewards program will transition to Cashback+, which offers you cash back on purchases, including:

• 1% cash back on all purchases
• 3% cash back on restaurants, gas, and electric vehicle (EV) charging

As part of this change, your existing rewards points will be converted to a cash back balance within online banking. Each rewards point will be converted to $0.007143 in cash back value. For example, 50,000 reward points will convert to approximately $357.15 in your Cashback+ Rewards balance within online banking.

If you would like to use your current rewards points under the existing rewards program, please redeem your points by June 30, 2026. Any remaining eligible points after that date will automatically convert to cash back under the new program. You can redeems points at any time.

We offer two easy ways to redeem points for travel. Simply visit our Travel Resource Center to book online or speak with our travel agency. Or, call our Rewards Service Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (844) 997-3927.

When you have enough points for the items you want, you can redeem online or call the 1st United Credit Union Rewards Service Center at (844) 997-3927. Our reward specialist will take your order and you will receive your items within 2-4 weeks.

When you have enough points, you can redeem online or call the 1st United Credit Union Rewards Service Center at (844) 997-3927. Cash will be credited to your 1st United membership savings account the next business day.

Points may not be combined with or transferred to other reward programs.

Points are good for five years from the month they’re earned, giving you plenty of time (and ways) to use your points.

Points are not transferable.
