The 1st United Story

1st United is one of the oldest credit unions in San Francisco’s Bay Area and in California. Since 1932, we’ve served members throughout the East Bay. That’s a long time — and we’re looking forward to many more years helping the community.

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Solano, Stanislaus, or Kings Counties. If you’re looking for a fast, tech-savvy experience combined with personalized service, we think we’re the perfect fit for you.
