- More for You
Courtesy pay is a service offered to automatically protect your checking account from accidental overdrafts. Even if there isn’t enough money in your account, we will cover the amount of the transaction. The service is free if the account is overdrawn $5 or less. If the account is overdrawn $5.01 or more, a low fee applies. You may elect to decline courtesy pay coverage by calling our Member Contact Center.
Two Levels of Protection
We offer two levels of courtesy pay protection, one for checks, electronic payments and bill payments and an additional level of protection for ATM and debit card transactions. The first level of coverage is automatically included with your account.
According to federal regulations, you must elect to receive the second level of coverage. We recommend that you elect to receive this additional coverage to protect your account. If you don’t use it, it costs you nothing.
Use our simple online form to tell us you want courtesy pay coverage in just two clicks.
We hope you enjoy the convenience of courtesy pay.
Member must be at least 18 years of age. Account must be in good standing. Overdraw limits apply, usually $750 or $1,500. Account must be brought positive within 30 days and remain positive through the end of a business day. See our current Schedule of Fees for current fees.
