To our 1st United Credit Union members,
 
Last night, our Board of Directors held our monthly meeting. And for the first time in 88 years, we held this meeting completely remotely. The COVID-19 pandemic has quickly changed the landscape of how we do things. But more so, it’s changed how we feel about everything right now – our health, our jobs, our finances, our accessibility to food and supplies, and our communities.  
 
From the very first day 1st United was founded, we have committed to the founding principle that all credit unions share – people over profits. This is the continuing basis for decisions that we make on behalf of our member-owners, even more so during this difficult and, for many, scary time.
 
As the Board of Directors for 1st United Credit Union, we want you to know that we are here. We remain committed to keeping the assets of our members and the Credit Union safe and secure. In addition, our priority is to ensure the Credit Union continues to provide superior service to our members while maintaining the health and safety of everyone. We are proud of the way 1st United has handled the pandemic and the way each and every employee has come together to find a new way to operate with their top priority – continuing to serve our members.
 
We recognize the great deal of uncertainty and stress this situation has created for us all and will continue to stay in touch as things progress. We are in this together and truly believe we will get through this together. Stay healthy and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
