TAGGED AS: 1st United News

Concerns about Coronavirus COVID-19 continue throughout our communities. 1st United cares about the health and safety of our members and staff and continues to monitor the situation with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). With your help, we will be able to continue to operate safely and effectively.

If you’re impacted

First and most important, if you are a 1st United Credit Union member who has been personally impacted by the Coronavirus and may be in need of assistance in keeping your financial obligations, please contact us so that we can discuss options that may be available to you at this difficult time. We can be reached at (800) 649-0193 or by email at

What we’re doing

In line with CDC recommendations, we have taken the following steps to keep our staff and members safe:

  • Enhanced cleaning  – in our branches and offices
  • Extra precautions – ongoing outreach to remind staff about safe practices on illness and cleanliness
  • Ongoing monitoring – through the CDC; as the situation evolves, we will respond accordingly

What you can do

Our branches will continue to remain open for the time being and we welcome your visit. We do invite you to take advantage of our remote services, reserving branch visits for those tasks that cannot be performed from home. These include:

  • Online & mobile banking – many of the transactions you perform at the branch can be accomplished through our website or mobile app. These include depositing checks, transferring money, making loan payments and more. This is the perfect time to get started. If you need help setting up mobile banking, please call us.
  • Chat & phone – if you have questions or need assistance, reach out via chat or call us at (800) 649-0193

Working together, we hope to lessen the risk to our staff and members. For additional information about COVID-19, get the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at

Thank you for your valued membership.
