TAGGED AS: Banking Basics

With direct deposit, your paycheck is deposited directly into your checking or savings account. It's the simpler, faster, and friendlier way to receive your paycheck. Plus, you can elect to split up your deposit and put a percentage into checking and the rest into savings, making budgeting easier.

How to set up direct deposit

If your employer offers direct deposit, simply complete the direct deposit enrollment form provided by your employer's payroll department.  You may also use our Direct Deposit form.

Fill out the form with the required information including:

  • 1st United's Routing Number - 321174000
  • The account number you'd like to deposit to, which is your 1st United member number plus the sub-account number.  This information can be found on your monthly statement or your online banking account. For example: Regular Savings - 12345670-1, Money Market - 12345670-5.
  • To deposit to a checking account, please use the second set of numbers located at the bottom of your checks (example below). If you do not have checks, please contact us for this number.

You will then give this form to your employer for processing.
