The news of Northern California fires is devastating and our hearts go out to the communities affected. The road to recovery for those impacted will be a long one but there are ways you can help.

MONETARY DONATIONS

Donate to the American Red Cross. Be sure you specify your donation is for the California wildfire victims.

Donate to the Sonoma County Resilience Fund. The fund is overseen by the Community Foundation of Sonoma County and pledges to “focus on the mid- to long-term tasks of recovery and rebuilding, which will include basic needs as well as longer term economic, health and social supports.”

Donations can also be made to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund.

SUPPLY DONATIONS

As of Wednesday, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Napa posted on Facebook that no more food or supply donations were needed at this time. They encourage monetary donations to help victims recover.

VOLUNTEER

If you would like to volunteer, you are encouraged to sign up at the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership or the Red Cross. A representative from the organization will contact you for placement.
